You can reach Sønderborg easily
by plane, train or car.

By plane
Sønderborg Airport provides several daily departures and arrivals to and from Copenhagen International Airport. The flight time is approximately 40 minutes. We recommend you book your flight to Sønderborg via Copenhagen, as many of the domestic flights are free.

If you prefer flying to Hamburg in Germany, you will reach Sønderborg by car in around two hours. Alternatively, you can fly to Billund from many European airports and reach Sønderborg in around 90 minutes by road.

Lodam is situated just six kilometres from Sønderborg Airport. Exit the airport parking area, turn left and stay on this road until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards the city centre (Grundtvigs Allé). Turn right at the first traffic light (Ellegårdvej) and continue approx. 900 meters, where you will find Lodam on your left.

By train
Sønderborg railway station connects Sønderborg with all parts of Denmark and most of Europe. Travelling time from Copenhagen to Sønderborg is approximately four hours, and just three hours from Hamburg via Padborg.

Once you arrive in Sønderborg, take a taxi directly to Lodam.

By car
The Great Belt Bridge allows you to drive from Copenhagen to Sønderborg in around 3 hours. Head south on the E45, leave at Exit 71 and take highway 41 to Sønderborg. Stay on this road, which becomes highway 8. Cross the bridge and remain on highway 8 until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit towards city centre (Grundtvigs Allé). Turn right at the first traffic light (Ellegårdvej) and continue approx. 900 meters, where you will find Lodam on your left.

When arriving in Denmark from Germany via the E45 (Autobahn A7), leave at Exit 75 and continue along highway 8 to Sønderborg. Follow highway 8 over the bridge and remain on this road until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit towards city centre (Grundtvigs Allé). Turn right at the first traffic light (Ellegårdvej) and continue approx. 900 meters, where you will find Lodam on your left.
