Lodam Multi Tool (LMT)
Using the latest technology, the Windows based Lodam Multi Tool, LMT, can communicate with all Lodam controllers. Depending on the controller, the communication can be via a serial connection, an USB connection or an Ethernet connection.
The LMT is very flexible and can easily be configured for use by the technician or by an end-user: A technician could use LMT for analyzing performance of a condensing unit. The end-user could use LMT for looking at the performance of his domestic heat pump. The LMT can be configured to English or German language and other languages on request.
The LMT can be used for all applications where a Lodam controller is installed: Heat pumps, Air conditioning/Ventilation, Hot-water solutions, Transport cooling, Condensing units and other cooling areas.
The LMT displays the actual temperatures from the controller and can show a graphical view of the temperatures and how they change over time. If the controller is equipped with a datalogger, the LMT can load the stored measurements and show these as a list or as a graphical view where the user can zoom in on the data, print the view etc. And if the controller's datalogger has an event and alarm log, the LMT can load and show these logs.
For the developer, LMT is designed to be used with several types of units. To separate the types, each type can be assigned its own project. A project has one or more datasets. A dataset contains a part or subset of the data in the controller's database.
When connected to the correct unit, the data in the dataset can be shown as:
a window where the shown values are updated,
a table showing the history of the data as they are received,
a window with graphical curves showing the history of the data.
The data in a dataset are either received directly from the controller's database or they could be a calculated value based on real data. The data can be saved to the PCs hard drive.
The LMT can modify values in the controller, allowing the technician to fine tune the controller for the specific use. LMT can open a predefined dataset and then store it in the controller for easy setup of a unit. The LMT reads from the controller, which data are "read-only" and which data is user changeable.

LMT200 - Lodam Multi Tool, customized OEM version for end users
LMT300 - Lodam Multi Tool, for service technicians
LMT400 - Lodam Multi Tool, full version for developers of units
